2025 Artist Chronicles: The Journey to the Official TXM247 Mix

By TXM

What’s good TXM family,I know it’s been a minute since I’ve written something here. Life has been moving fast: recording, performing, traveling, evolving. But today I wanted to sit down and share something real with you, a behind-the-scenes look at how I put together the TXM247 Artist Mix, a compilation that highlights the music I’ve been releasing every two weeks across all streaming platforms.

For those who are new here:
I’ve been building a large catalog of music over the years. Not everything drops at once, I release consistently, track by track, so listeners can actually sit with the music, feel it, and live in it. But I realized recently that I needed a way to showcase the bigger picture, the world I’ve been building.

So I decided to create a mix, something that feels like a journey, not just a playlist.

And to make it fair (and honest), I tested working with DJs at 3 different price tiers on Fiverr. Consider this my artist review so no one wastes time (or money).

Mix Attempt #1 — $19.95

This one was basically just… a playlist.

No transitions.
No creativity.
No blend.Just songs thrown next to each other in order. Cool attempt ,but definitely not what I was looking for. Verdict: $20 gone. We move.

Mix Attempt #2 — $47.92

This DJ pulled the songs straight from Spotify and attempted to mix them.

There was some effort — transitions, volume adjustments, the basics.
But the energy didn’t flow.
The vibe felt scattered.

It wasn’t bad… it just wasn’t cohesive. The story wasn’t there.Verdict: Good try, but still not hitting.

FIVERR INVOICE

Mix Attempt #3 — $230.03

Now here’s where things got interesting.

This DJ asked for raw audio files, not just streaming links.
They took the time to understand the feel, the emotion, the movement.
They didn’t just mix the songs, they designed the journey.

Transitions were seamless.
The vibe was intentional.
The sauce was real.

When I heard it, I knew:

This is the one.

So I ended up publishing the mix.
